How to easily configure and balance several ntp server with the pool directive

Use one pool directive in your ntp.conf and you are ready.

pool 0.DE.pool.ntp.org iburst

or

pool pool.ntp.org

An DNS-Query for pool.ntp.org gives you several and continuously changing IPs from ntp server.
