Atmel provides an entire family of Wireless LAN (WLAN) parts based on the ARM7TDMI™ RISC controller. These highly integrated parts support the 802.11b Standards for the ISM band and are both Wi-Fi and WHQL certifiable. Atmel's Media Access Controllers (MAC's) and MAC's with integrated baseband controllers support PCMCIA, CF Card, USB, PCI and Mini-PCI interfaces. Atmel's Access Point/Bridging parts provides a seamless connection between wired Ethernet and the WLAN, as well as wireless router and ADSL to WLAN capabilities
