Since Yosemite there is a cool renaming feature in MAC OS X

How to easily batch or bulk rename files with cool feature in Finder.

1. Select several files in the Finder
2. Control click or right click and use the Rename X Items...
3. There you can easily rename files in a search replace like manner

This is a very handy nice feature that is finally integrated into OS X.
